When a neighborhood is designed so that schools, groceries, and offices are within a 15-minute walk, we reclaim hours of our lives.

This is the geometry of equity: reducing our dependence on heavy, fossil-fuel-burning transit—not just to save the planet, but to save our own nervous systems from the stress of gridlock.

A city designed for people, rather than machines, is the most effective public health tool we have.
